The 50 inch table is a perfect size for 4 people, but can seat up to 6 quite comfortably. It is 29 inches high. The inbuilt susan is 24 inches in diameter. The plate perimeter is 13 inches wide.
The table top, Pedestal, and legs are manufactured of Solid Oak. This is a very durable, extremely rigid and solidly built table. With my Rock Solid design there is virtually no give when you lean on the table top edge.
Here is the Ball and Claw Leg system. These legs are indeed impressive. You have to admire the care and detail that went into these remarkable pieces to achieve this look. These legs at the narrow part are 2 1/2 inches thick and at the widest, an amazing 4 inches. Please keep in mind that these are manufactured of Solid Oak. Once these are added to the oversized 10 inch pedestal, an overall leg span of 40 inches is achieved. This combination provides an exceptionally stable base. Most other table makers will only supply a 6 inch column.
